Reflection

When Creating the sketchbook I wrote a reflection that explained what I learned and have accomplished this year with all of my sketches. I enjoyed doing these sketches, because as an interior designer I will need to know how to sketch and sketch well to show a client what I am thinking about their designs.

Sketchbook Cover

Throughout this semester every week we were assigned sketches that you can see in my blog. Once all the sketches were done I created a sketchbook that holds all the sketches together in the order of last sketch to first sketch so you would be able to see my progression. I wanted to create a sketch that represented my progress throughout the semester so I chose to do a hand sketch with an outside view, because my favorite place to sketch is outside in the warm sun. I liked creating the sketchbook, because I did not want all my sketches to go to waste I want to be able to look back at these sketches in a few years and see how much better I can sketch.

Poster

This assignment was to create a poster that represented my design process in building my bench. I used the program InDesign to create my poster. I was happy that I got to use that program, because I was able to get more comfortable with the program before the year ended. I liked doing this project, because it was a good way to show how I created the bench step by step. Usually when you create something you only get to see the process through your work all jumbled up. This poster made my process look clear, clean, and professional without all the mess.
