Napkin Sketch
This sketch is my favorite sketch so far. We had to grab a napkin and draw the layout of a room that was interesting. I picked the downstairs of my apartment, because it has a different layout then most apartments and is big. I liked that for this sketched we used a pen, it really made the sketch look complete and interesting. What i did not like was how flimsy the napkin was. I had to do multiple sketches on multiple napkins because i kept putting holes in the napkin.
Chair View Sketch
Sketching this design was interesting to me, because it made me look at an object that I see everyday, and really open my eyes to that object. I chose my computer chair for the reason that it is unique. I like the way the chair is shaped, the way it stands, and the support it gives. I do not like the way i did the bottom view of the chair.
Mind Map Sketch
When I sat down to do this sketch a lot of things were running through my mind. The idea was to sit down, write a word and quickly, without thinking, draw and use words to connect to that main word. I came up with life, because life is always going to be a part of design. Whether you like it or not things that happen to you in life are going to effect the way you design. I do not like that i did not use more pictures to express my feelings, but I do like the words that I used.

Textile Pattern
This is my final patter for my quilt design. This part includes a concept statement about my work. This pattern comes from my heritage and it is important to me, because both of my parents have Norwegian in them. I have been to family functions that were revolved around our heritage and I was very proud to show that off in my textile design and concept statement for this project.
Quilt Pattern
The quilt pattern was inspired by my Norwegian heritage. I used the Norwegian textiles, because both of my parents are part Norwegian. This pattern turned out really well in the end. There was some manipulation used that brought out the great colors, and designs. I liked that this design was different and it represent what I am and my heritage.
Geometric Pattern
The geometric pattern was created using six images that were combined to create one exciting image. Every image that was used in this project has a different manipulation used on it. I decided that I did not want to take any of the color out of the design, because the color is what makes the pattern look exciting and it grabs your attention. I chose this pattern, because I could easily show all six images clearly and equally.
